The Tiger Watchman Goby, also known as the Ward's Sleeper Goby, is a beautiful and active species of goby named for its vertical orange-brown and white striping, reminiscent of a tiger. They'll most often be found in and around the sandbed sifting for food, making a great option for maintaining clean sand.
Care
Like most gobies, the Tiger Watchman Goby is a very hardy and easy to care for species. They grow up to 5" long, and do well in aquariums of 30 gallons or larger. They are a peaceful and reef safe species, but shouldn't be placed in a small tank with other bottom feeders. It's advisable to keep a screen top with this species, as they are notorious for jumping and carpet surfing when startled.
Diet
Tiger Watchman Gobies have no special feeding considerations, and will readily accept most frozen or dry prepared foods, though care should be taken to ensure enough food reaches the bottom for them to eat.
