Chalice corals were, not so long ago, the absolute king of the coral collecting hobby. Though their popularity has somewhat faded, their stunning coloration and variety certainly hasn't! Chalice corals come in a dizzying amount of varieties and every imaginable color combination. These LPS corals prefer low light and low to moderate flow, and benefit from occasional spot feeding. Care should be taken with their placement, as most varieties are quite aggressive and have strong sweeper tentacles.
