The Strawberry Pseudochromis, also known as the Magenta or Purple Dottyback, is a small species of vibrant solid purple pseudochromis.
Care
The Strawberry Pseudochromis grows to about 2.5", and may be kept in tanks as small as 20 gallons. However, like other dottybacks and pseudochromis, they can be intensely territorial and may bully other small fish, especially those with similar body shapes. They're best kept in larger tanks with larger fish that will be immune to their aggression. Despite their bad attitudes, these fish are popular choices for beginners due to their bright coloration and hardy nature.
Diet
Pseudochromis are largely predatory, but generally aren't picky eaters. Offer a quality flake or pellet food, or a variety of meaty frozen frozen foods such as mysis or other seafood blends.
