KanaPlex is a kanamycin-based medication formulated to safely and effectively treat a variety of bacterial and fungal diseases in fish, including dropsy, popeye, fin/tail rot, and septicemia. It is absorbed systemically, making it effective for internal infections even when fish refuse food. Safe for use in both freshwater and marine aquaria, KanaPlex does not negatively affect biological filtration and can be removed easily with activated carbon. For improved palatability, it may be used in combination with GarlicGuard.
