The Ember Tetra is a small South American tetra notable for its translucent appearance and bright orange coloration, resembling a burning ember of flame. They're a schooling fish, so it's best to keep them in groups. They're small size makes them an attractive option for smaller tanks where a small school is desired.

Care

Ember Tetras grow to about 1.25", and should be kept in groups in an aquarium of at least 10 gallons. They're an active mid-level swimmer, and should be provided with plenty of plants and rocks for hiding to feel most comfortable.

Diet

Ember Tetras aren't picky eaters, and will happily accept prepared flake or pellet foods.
