The Skunk Cleaner Shrimp (Lysmata amboinensis) is one of the most iconic and beneficial invertebrates in the reef hobby. Known for its bold white dorsal stripe and bright red body, this shrimp actively sets up “cleaning stations” where fish come to have parasites and dead tissue removed. Peaceful, striking, and extremely useful, it’s a staple for many reef aquariums.
