Composed of 97% calcium carbonate with natural trace elements such as strontium, magnesium, and barium, this clean, marine-origin rock offers exceptional porosity—about 50% void space—providing residence for billions of beneficial, water-purifying bacteria. Infused using AragAlive™ technology, LifeRock™ helps significantly reduce traditional cycling time. Multiple engineered aragonite coatings preserve porosity while giving each piece the soft, natural colors of a mature reef.
