Eco-Planted™ Black features a basaltic volcanic base packed with iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, sulfur, and over 25 other essential elements, while Eco-Planted™ Red, made from laterite, is ideal for tanks with soft-bellied, bottom-dwelling fish. Both options are rich in iron and contain no artificial dyes, paints, or chemical coatings. The highly porous grains promote optimal diffusion, and live heterotrophic bacteria rapidly convert fish waste into natural plant nutrients, helping establish a balanced ecosystem and speeding up the cycling of new aquariums.
