Nephthea corals are soft, tree-like leather corals that sway gracefully in aquarium currents. Their fingered, branching polyps come in shades of green, brown, or tan, adding movement and texture to reef tanks. Hardy and adaptable, Nephthea are an excellent choice for beginner and intermediate reef keepers seeking visually dynamic soft corals.

Yes, they are hardy and suitable for beginners and intermediate aquarists.
Do Nephthea corals need feeding?
They are primarily photosynthetic but benefit from occasional phytoplankton or fine particulate foods.
Why are my Nephthea polyps retracted?
Polyps may retract due to stress, water changes, or during shedding.
Where should I place Nephthea in my tank?
On rockwork or sandbed in moderate flow with space for branches to move freely.
Are Nephthea corals aggressive?
They are peaceful; however they release chemical compounds that may affect nearby sensitive corals.
How fast do Nephthea corals grow?
