Suitable for both freshwater and saltwater, it is particularly effective against common freshwater bacterial and fungal infections. SulfaPlex™ is among the gentler antibiotics, making it ideal for stressed or sensitive fish. It is easily removed with carbon and does not interfere with nitrification in your aquarium. SulfaPlex™ treats a variety of bacterial, fungal, and protozoan infestations. It is commonly used for conditions that present with symptoms such as clamped fins, lesions, or loss of appetite. Note that multiple diseases can share similar physical or behavioral symptoms.
