Kolar Labs Mixed Bed DI Resin is a premium, nuclear-grade deionization media designed to bring Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) down to zero when used as the final stage in an RO or RODI system. Manufactured by Lanxess for ultra-high purity applications, this resin produces exceptionally clean water that is safe for freshwater aquariums, reef tanks, marine systems, ponds, and other aquatic environments requiring mineral-free source water.

Each batch is vacuum-sealed in durable mylar packaging to preserve freshness, maximize performance, and extend shelf life. The resin is a precise 1:1 blend of anion and cation gel-type ion exchange beads in the H⁺ and OH⁻ form, ensuring consistent, high-capacity removal of dissolved impurities. Available in both standard (non-indicating) and color-changing indicating formulas, hobbyists can choose visual exhaustion monitoring or rely on TDS meters for maximum efficiency.

Ideal for use after an RO membrane, this DI resin polishes water to laboratory-grade purity before remineralization for aquarium use. It is especially valuable in reef systems where even trace contaminants can affect coral health and stability.
