Description:

Flatworm eXit is a reef-safe treatment designed to eliminate flatworms without harming fish or invertebrates. However, the body fluids released when flatworms die can be toxic to some reef inhabitants if concentrations become too high. To minimize risk, siphon out as many flatworms as possible before treatment and be prepared with fresh activated carbon to remove toxins quickly. Proper preparation and monitoring are essential for safe and effective use.

Technical Specs:

• Safe for fish and invertebrates when used as directed

• Requires removal of UV, ozone, and carbon during treatment

• Keep protein skimmer on during use

• Recommended: 1 lb of fresh activated carbon per 50 gallons post-treatment

• Monitor tank for at least 6 hours after dosing

• Have at least 25% water available for potential water change

• Siphoning flatworms before and after treatment greatly reduces toxin risk
