Description:

Liquid Hikari PraziPro (also branded Aquarium Solutions PraziPro) is a ready-to-use praziquantel-based concentrate designed to treat internal and external parasites in freshwater, marine, and pond tanks. Highly effective against flukes, flatworms, tapeworms, and turbellarians, this formulation is safe for fish, shrimp, snails, and live plants, and won’t disrupt biological filtration systems  . Its homogeneous liquid format ensures even dispersion, and it’s commonly used for both treatment and preventative parasite control in aquariums  .

• Sizes Available: 4 oz and 16 oz bottles

• Active Ingredient: <5% Praziquantel (anti-parasitic) in oxybispropanol carrier

• Coverage:

  • 4 oz treats up to ~480 gal (≈1 920 L)

  • 16 oz treats up to ~1,920 gal (≈7,270 L) 

   

• Effective Against: Flukes, tapeworms, flatworms, turbellarians

• Application: Shake bottle before use; dose at ~1 tsp (≈5 mL) per 20 gal (≈76 L) of system water (≈1 fl oz per 120 gal) 

• Treatment Duration: 5–7 days per cycle; may retreat once every 3–5 days if necessary; up to four uninterrupted cycles may be needed for full parasite life‑cycle coverage (~28 days) 

• Safety Notes: Safe for invertebrates and most aquarium organisms; may reduce oxygen during treatment—air stone or increased aeration recommended 

• Usage Warnings: Remove activated carbon, disable UV sterilizers and protein skimmers during treatment to allow efficacy
