Red Sea TRACE COLORS A (IODINE+) is an iodine, bromine, and fluorine supplement designed to promote the pink coloration in corals. Part of the complete range of complementary major, minor, and trace element complexes, this supplement provides essential halogens that support key biological processes in corals.

Iodine and other halogens act as both antioxidants and oxidative agents within the soft tissue and mucus layer of corals, helping to reduce the risk of coral bleaching. In active reef systems, these elements are quickly depleted due to their high oxidative activity and reactivity with organic materials. Iodine and bromine are specifically linked to the pink chromo-protein (pocciloporin), enhancing natural coral pigmentation.

For best results in displaying coral colors, use Red Sea’s NO3: PO4–X as part of the complete Reef Care Program.
