The HI784-25 Reagents are pre-measured, high-quality reagents designed for use with the Marine Ammonia Checker® HC (HI784). They enable fast and accurate measurement of ammonia in saltwater aquariums using the colorimetric salicylate method. When added to a sample, the reagents react with ammonia and ammonium, producing a blue-green color. The HI784 then measures the color intensity to determine ammonia concentration in parts per million (ppm). These reagents are ideal for saltwater samples with an expected ammonia range of 0.00 to 2.50 ppm.
