Brightwell - MicroBacter Clean

Brightwell Aquatics MicrōBacterCLEAN is a complex system of non-pathogenic microbes and natural enzymes designed to clean live rock, decorations, and substrates in marine aquariums. It is especially effective during the “ugly stage” that occurs just after the initial cycle, helping prevent unsightly accumulations. The product works by reducing organic carbon, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and phosphate, while digesting uneaten food, detritus, and other organic material to maintain a cleaner and healthier aquarium environment. MicrōBacterCLEAN promotes natural bacterial colonies that continue cleaning over time and loosens unwanted coatings, making removal via scraping or vacuuming easier.

Technical Specs:

• Sizes: 250 ml | 500 ml

• Application Rate (normal maintenance): 20 ml per 25 US gallons weekly (~16 drops per gallon)

• Application Rate (problem aquariums): 30 ml per 25 US gallons first day (~24 drops per gallon), then 5 ml per 25 US gallons daily for 2+ weeks (~4 drops per gallon)

• Storage: Room temperature in a cool, shaded area; refrigeration at 50°F prolongs activity and shelf-life

• Notes: Clumps or an “earthy” smell are normal; shake well before use

• Ingredients: Purified water, proprietary blend of natural enzymes, non-pathogenic beneficial microorganisms

• Usage Guidelines:

  • Mix with aquarium water before adding

  • Avoid adding directly to pump intake ports

  • Turn off protein skimmer and UV sterilizers for 4 hours after addition

  • Can be combined with Brightwell Aquatics Razor Marine (add MicrōBacterCLEAN first)
