API POND ALGAEFIX effectively controls green water algae blooms, string or hair algae (Cladophora), and blanketweed (Oedogonium) in ponds containing live plants and fish. Fast-acting and EPA-registered, it controls existing algae, inhibits new growth, and helps resolve persistent algae problems in water gardens, ponds, and ornamental fountains.
- Dosage: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) per 50 gallons or 0.25 cup per 600 gallons of pond water
- Application: Mix near pump outflow, waterfall, aeration device, or in a bucket and disperse evenly
- Frequency: Repeat every 3 days until algae is controlled; then 1 dose per week for maintenance
- Restrictions: Do not use with freshwater crustaceans (shrimp, crabs, lobsters)
