Valentine Synodontis - Synodontis valentiana

The Valentine Synodontis is a common hybrid of the species Synodontis decora and Synodontis multipunctat. They have a stout body with mottled brown coloration and spotting on the fins.                

Care

Valentine Synodontis is a fairly small catfish, maturing to a size of about 4 inches, and prefers to be kept in tanks of 20 gallons or more. These fish are very social, and should be kept in small groups for them to feel comfortable, and may hide excessively when kept singly.             

Diet

Valentine Synodontis are hearty eaters, and will readily accept most sinking flake or pellet foods.
